Charlotte's Story
Hi, all. Most of you probably remember that I kinda gave up on society after the 10th grade. I realized that having label clothing did not make you who you really are!!!! At the age of 30 I went to First Baptist Church of Norfolk (who would have thought!!!) and found out that God loves us and wants the BEST for us. What a wonderful surprise, since all I had ever heard was condemnation. I have found that doing things Gods way makes for a good life. I have recently puchased a 100 year old bungalow on Broad Creek. It has had it's challenges, especially when you pay people to fix things and then they weren't. (Like a hole in the roof and then you get a big stor...Expand for more
m and have a waterfall going down your dining room wall!!!) But I believe that God will help me get through all the little (and some big) repairs. The good part is that I have a beautiful marsh wetlands behind one side of the house so I watch egrets and herons fishing and frogging. There is a little creek on the other side....so I only have neighbors on 2 sides, and I live in a cul-de-sac, so no traffic!!! I have a 19 year old son, who is the light of my life, now going to ODU and a I REALLY miss him.....so he comes to dinner about once a week and we still go to WAVE church on Sunday evenings. I would love to hear from those of you who MIGHT remember me!!!!
