Charlotte's Story
My name, Charlotte (Harp) Hughes. I married a wonderful man and we were blessed with 6 amazing children. Each married and have given us 11 awesome grandchildren. I have been blessed more than I deserve. My husband was a PD graduate of 1958 and is in the Hall of Fame. Perhaps some might have known him. He was a CPA and his name is Charles (Sonny) Hughes. I have a daughter and her husband that built a Harley dealership in London, Ky, A son that owns a commercial Heating and Air Company in the Houston area along with business in the Dallas area. Our other four children own businesses here in Amarillo. As I said, I am so very blessed! Grandchildren ranging in ages 8 to 28. No great grandchildren...and that is ok!ð
Living at Lake Tanglewood for a number of years and now in town for two years. Amarillo is my home and I will always love it!
