Charlotte's Story
I went to ASU, and completed my Education at Ottawa University. Got my Bachelors and Masters in Education. Became a teacher first at the Az. Dept. of Corrections, then at the Sheriffs office, onto public school. Taught Life Skills and Health, then Ancient History. Now i am an Academic Instructor for JobCorp. I retired early to help my brother take care of our dad. The hardest job I've ever had. My dad had bladder cancer and Dementia, I feel is the worst illness ever. My dad lived to be 90. I believe the last 3 years of his life was very stressful to me. I didn't take care of myself, I allowed stress to get me sick, but If I had to do it again I w...Expand for more
ould still take care of him. 4 months after he passed I went back to teaching at a charter school. A fellow teacher was Principal and she let me teach art and character Ed/ life skills. I was there 4 months and I got sick. Apparently I had a stroke, they saw seizures i had, lesions on my brain. The doctors said it was caused by stress. I am fully retired now. Single and no children. My health is getting better, slowly but surely. I have a black Pug dog 13 years old and she is having breathing problems, plus she has Dementia. It's so hard to see her this way, but I will take care of her. That's where I am at this time in my life, Sept. 24th 2019.
