Charlotte's Story
Life
After graduating in `68, I went to work full time and married my first husband, Alan in `71. Our daughter was born in 1976, and we lived in Saugus until `83. We then moved to Western NY where my husband was from and opened our own Western Store. Things were not good in my first marriage, and we divorced after 14 years. Then I met a wonderful guy, Steve, and we have been happily married now for 23 years. Our daughter and granddaughter live in Florida, where we hope to join them in the near future. We have a new member to our family, a mini dachshund, named "Cowboy". As far as work, I have done many things from working for Bank of America for 10 years, owning my own western store, selling real estate, to delivering flowers. I am currently disabled with Spine injuries since 2006. I have recently become reunited with my best friends, Susan Hopp from Cleveland High School and Paulette Sommer from Milliken Jr. High and Grant High School. We sta...Expand for more
y in touch and it is great being friends once again!! Paulette and I met while going to Milliken Jr. High and was reunited with the help of her brother, Bob. I remember him as Bobby!! Bobby was a rocker back in those days...He use to practice with his band in the garage, now he is into Law and has (and I quote)"two wanna-be rockers of his own..lol WTG Bob!! Have also found a few other close friends from the good old days with the help of Classmates, and it has been such a blast reuniting with each and every one of them. I attended elementary school in Quincy, Calif. from 1956-`63, then Milliken Jr. High in Sherman Oaks, `63 -`65, Grant HS start of 10th grade, then finished up 10th thru graduation at Cleveland HS in Reseda, Ca, leaving a trail of long lost friends.
