Charlotte's Story

I left Knob in the middle of my senior year and graduated in Okinawa, Japan. I missed my friends from Missouri that day. I married a Marine after graduating, and we moved soon after to Southern California. From there we moved to Virginia, and after 10 years and 3 sons , I left him and moved back to California. This time it was the San Francisco Bay Area, and I have lived here ever since. I was fortunate to have landed a job in a small pharmaceutical company, and I realized my passion to help others by designing and conducting clinical trials. Mixed in that journey was an opportunity to finish college (while still raising 3 teenage boys). That's when I realized it was something I had always wanted to do,...Expand for more
but never thought I would actually do it. My sons are grown with families of their own, and I have been blessed with 5 grandkids, with the 6th scheduled to arrive in October. They all live within an hour of me, and we enjoy getting together as time allows. I have remained single even though I've enjoyed a few long term relationships. I've spent the last 2 years learning how to live on my own, and just maybe for the first time in my life, I'm making "me" a higher priority. Life has been good to me, even with its challenges. I believe each experience has given me a lesson that I've taken with me to next experience. Thanks for stopping by to see where I'm at in life. I wish you well in your journey.
