Charlotte's Story
Life
I attended TJC after graduation from THS and married Jack (Jackie) Kolls in 1947. We were married 45 years before he died of cancer in 1992. We had four children, Ricky (who died of brain cancer at the age of 35), Randy (who is the GM of the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club in Durham, NC), Keri (Eastman) who lives in San Angelo, and Kyle (who is GM of Bryan Park which includes two golf courses and a Conference Center, etc,in Greensboro, NC). I have 13 grandchildren, the oldest is 32 and the youngest is four...Expand for more
, and six great-grandchildren. Jack was a supervisor for the AT&SF Ry before he retired in 1984. We lived in Temple (twice!), Belton, Cleburne, Silsbee, Gainesville, and Ft. Worth before moving to San Angelo in 1973. I have had a wonderful life and continue to be active with church activities, traveling, volunteer work with several organizations, playing cards and spending quality time with family and friends. I thoroughly enjoy hearing from former acquaintances and I spend lots of time sending and receiving email.
