I was the first female to enter ROTC at Valley High and I was the first female to graduate from the program. I enjoyed every moment of my active and inactive service. I traveled and learned so many things about myself and those around me.

I do owe it all to Commander Huff and Chief Looper for the support they gave me in high school. They saw something in me that I never knew was there. The confidence they had in my ability to lead and the strength they helped me find within myself has helped me make it in life.
