Charlotte's Story
Life
Left America in 1968 for Europe..lived 25 years in London...3 years in France 3 in Corfu, Greece..now an artist living in Arizona, working in welded steel, painting and mixed media..life is sunny and rich with experience. Have made contact with Arleen Haas Masiak, Beth van Gelder, two 'ole' homeroom pals...Peter vonElton and Jera Prendergast Verne...who else is out there????
Scrap the Arizona part...life has moved on yet again. Teaching yoga and art near Marbella, Spain, but plan to move to North Cyprus towards the end of February....also found Cyrill Siewert who l used to hang with when we both lived in London during the 80's.
Good grief....I think I'm impressed....I've been checked out by many people. I remember in the 'bequeath' section of our yearbook (I think it was there)...Judeann Oakley left me the book "How to win friends and influence people". Never actually read it...but I figure it must have been to try and teach me to do something I wasn't doing very well. You'll be happy to know I'm a much nicer person NOW!!!

.thought I'd fill up some more space. Still teaching yoga three times aweek and still living in the same place..nr. Marbella, Spain..this is amazing and it makes me happy not to be moving ANYWHERE for awhile. Life has most definitely not shortchanged me in the moving department!
Speaking of shortchanging. I rember vividly trying to swallow packs of WATE-ON tablets in the 11th grade Oh, how the times-they-be-a-changin....I tell my yoga students that the reason they love me is because I'm a 'bit' fat, a 'bit' old and more than a 'bit' fun.
Someone said to me the other day...."I thought you were 61" They were right.. I was!!!!

Guess I missed my 64th year....looks more like I'm about to become 66 in a few months. At the end of July, I will have been widowed for a year. I can feel an anniversary of pain already. Wonder how long it takes before it all gets less painful.
So, here I am again. It is July. Tony died the 31st July, so it is pending...10th August would have been our 24th anniversary. to be continued
