I've enjoyed reading the bios and will try to add mine later on. The one thread we all seem to have had in common in the desire to travel and explore the world and leave the privileged lifestyle that, apparently, we could care less about. To that end, I joined the flower generation and found myself in Haight Ashbury, where I immersed myself in the music, the culture, "love-ins" and some very interesting people! I lived with members of "Big Brother", and traveled back and forth from a commune in Santa Cruz to my house in Sausalito. Back to LA where some friends were leaving to attend a concert somewhere in New York. So I left my mother a note and hit the road. We took Route 66 through Texas (hated it) to New Orleans, slept on the beach in Biloxi, Mississippi two nights before Hurrican Camille hit. Hooked up with some bikers in the Bronx who took us in and got us to WOODSTOCK!
