Life
Hello classmates...
It's been more than 20 years now and there is a great deal to share. To begin, I am married with children (3). Also, we had a Boxer, whose name was Tyson but unfortunately we lost him 2 years ago...he was 11 years old. That was almost as difficult as losing my mother in 1999. My Mom's story is a story within itself which I may be able to share one day. Nonetheless, we think that we are now ready again for that next special pet. So about the kids...the eldest child goes to college at The Art Institute of Seattle, the middle child is a Junior at Mount Rainier High School and my youngest goes to Aviation High School in Seattle, WA. niversities. My husband- Bennie DeFils is a graduate of Peabody High School. We met just before I attended and graduated from Southern University in '81 -'86 and the rest is history. I am an employee at The Boeing Company at the Renton Division, working as a Manufacturing Engineer Planner and doing some traveling for the company in Lean Initiatives. I am also on the Board of our work affinity group - Boeing Black Employees Association. I am very active at my church in Seattle, serving on the Usher Board and other auxilliaries within the church. We have lived here in the Northwest for many years now... but my husband and I still call Alexandria home! Isn't that amazing? In closing, I would be happy to hear from some of my "old" classmates - no pun intended!
