Chere's Story
Fond memories of Yerington High School: John's Cafe, Lion's State Football Championship in the snow, Marching in the Nevada Day Parade behind the elephants with white oxfords, The Beatles Explosion, Sue Hatton & the Sabra's Band performing "The House of New Orleans", Saturday night dances at the Eagles Roost & VFW hall, JFK assignation, Mrs. Crawford's English class, hanging with so many of you and having fun.

I was born in Reno, NV, but raised in Yerington, NV. However, I have lived in California for over 30 years. After graduation, I went to Foothill College in the SF Bay Area. In 1968, I married and later divorced, Daryl Brown but we had a beautiful daughter, Shannon. Shannon is now 40 years old, she has been disabled since she was 11 years old, due to a brain tumor. In November, I retired from a 29 year career as a Property Manger. During that same time period, I have done intercity ministry in the cities of Seaside, Oakland, & Richmond, CA. Prior to my daughters illness, I pastored a church in Vermont.
