Cheri's Story
Life
After graduation, I worked various jobs for little pay and hung out with friends. I eventually got engaged, though I still had no direction in life. I have stayed in the Beaverton area, where I moved from Keizer to in 1987, my first fiance and I separated in early'96 after our son was born.I now have an Associates degree and work in the childcare industry as an after school teacher and substitute director. My son, Taylor, will be , gulp, 13 in February of 2009 and is active in drama and music. Life is wonderful, I'm in love with my best friend of 18 years, Jason, and we had a beautiful baby girl, Rilea Rayn, in March, 2002. She is 6 going on 16 and so very talented. arolyn and Dawn, after 30 years we are all still good friends. I hope all is well with everyone else, I think of a lot of you often, I had many friends at McKay, Steve Machado and Robert Younce, Kevin Northcutt, Jason Stone, Kerry DaBerry, Laura Miller and a handful of others, so though I didn't attend there, well, the boys were cute and the Lancaster mall arcade was a great place to meet people from other schools! I am often wondering how old friends are and hoping your lives have turned out well, and have so many fond memories of growing up in Keizer, going to Keizer elementary, followed by Whiteaker, and a year at McNary and I look forward to trying to go to the 20 year reunion.
