Cherryl's Story
Hi, I have been retired for the past 10 years. I graduated from Edinboro in elementary ed in 1966 and got my masters in 1968. Taught for 2 1/2 years in Millcreek. Married Bill Parker in 1968. taught for a year in Anchorage, Alaska. Returned to Erie and then taught for 6 months at Northwestern. Have 2 children a boy ,Jon, who is now 44 and a daughter, Heat...Expand for more
her, who is now 42. I stayed home until they wer 9 and 7. At that time Bill and I divorced and I returned to school and obtained a BS in nursing from Edinboro. I worked at the VA in Erie for 22 years. In 1987 I married Tony Van Damia who died in 1990.
I have 2 grandsons who are 24 and 22. I spend most of the summer in Canada at our cottage on Chandos Lake.
