Life Well, still a deep subject...after high school, I was a cashier, and taking classes, at the Chambertian Resturant in Dearborn... met allot of interesting people; the most "famous" was James Gardner tog. with Parnelli Jones. With mustered up God-given boldness..as they were standing alone conversing ..awaiting others to join the banquet; I walked up and began to speak, in a race Parnelli had been hurt so that opened up a range of conversation.. a long time fan of James Garner. I introduced myself..{that topped Sea Hunts actor, Lloyd Bridges,{when I couldn't think anything to say,really!!} in New York with my aunt and uncle and cousin, Brian Tretheway. . I still hung out with many of you around Angelos... One especially so...then so many changes...war, seperation.. Then wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles; I once again thanked God for sending Jesus, and being my savior and boss, best friend, etc, I went to a Biblical University or two..then I went into nursing, and and worked at Garden City Hospital. Later I married Loren Backing. We first had three sons and a daughter; his work took us to the Florida Space Coast, right across from the ocean at one point..One day we saw the most beautiful double rainbow, as we strolled the beach, after a quick summerstorm. Aw.. Storms,{more than one kind in our lives} there in hurricane season.. Palm trees bent to the ground with fierce winds.. Then about 19 years ago, we moved to Michigan, in Grand Rapids area.. and the biggest storms in our families lives, the death of two of my my bros. Later as a bird nest dumped from its tree.... our lives where thrown about in a tempest of sorrow again as my husband was quietly torn from our arms in a "minor proceedure", {where he was told he would not die} although within hours,sadly, Loren did pass from our liv...Expand for more
