Cheryl's Story
Those of you who remember me, remember how quite and shy I was in school. I would have rather hid in the back of the room, then to be in front of the class. I guess I worried to much about what other people thought of me. As I got older, my motto became, like me, love me or who the heck cares. Most people love me. These days, I'm not quite or shy and I'm usually where I can be seen and heard. My co-workers would say that I'm happy and fun to be around.
After high school, I was working full time. At 23, I flew a Cessna. Not by myself, but oh what a feeling and a rush it was to take the controls and lift that plane off the ground. It was an experience I'll never forget. I just wish I had a picture of it!

Slavin how much I loved her Creative Writing class every Friday. I've had poems published in several anthologies. I recently wrote a story for my husband, which is about to be published in an anthology.
I've traveled to Washington D.C, Mackinac Island, Michigan (a beautiful place), Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas. While on Mackinac Island, I went horseback riding for the first time. I stayed at the Grand Hotel, which is where the movie, "Somewhere in Time" was filmed. It was a great time. In Fort Worth I was introduced to the Rainforest Cafe, which I thought was cool. In San Antonio, I loved the Riverwalk. I also went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood.
Now I am married with 2 kids, a girl and a boy. They are my world.
