I've been a single Mom for close to twenty years. I have the very very BEST kids in the world! Thanks to a lot of prayers and whoopings they are awesome. I love my family and I love my friends. I have had rheumatoid arthritis and osteo arthritis since my early twenties. I have a very fast electric wheelchair, and I'll run over your toes if you're in my way. I've been given the gift of happiness and patience. It's very seldom that you'd catch me in a bad mood. Through the years, I've been active in the youth groups of the Masonic Lodge (Rainbow and DeMolay), a member of Eastern Star, and the Marietta Jaycees....Expand for more
I'm a lifetime member of the Marietta Jaycees and I'm a member of the Georgia Rebel Corp. I DJ'd for a number of years. Those were probably some of the happiest years in my life, I loved "bringing" the party! I enjoyed seeing people happy! (People are funny when they've been drinking) As my body has twisted, turned, broken, knotted, been realigned and replaced by surgeries, and turned even more; the expectations of my life continues to change. I often feel trapped in a body that insist on being a bit sideways, slow and awkward. I'm easily broken so the activities of my youth are out of the question. I'm confined to the sidelines of life, watching others play in a way that is no longer possible for me. Thanks to the influence of my kids, I love Art Museums and the Symphony. I truely enjoy watching my family and friends do the things I can't. I find a great comfort in their happiness. I love music and I love to sing. I wish that I could work in a garden again. The satisfaction of seeing a rose bloom or seeing that first tomato turn red or picking beans from your garden, mmm...there's nothing like it. I used to love to fly in small airplanes. The excitement from low level flying was awesome. I enjoy life. Whether it be on the sidelines or in the middle of it. I'm grateful for my life. It might not be what some think as grand, but I wouldn't change a thing!".
