Cheryl's Story
Schreiber High School was the first school I attended in the USA after immigrating from Barbados, West Indies, back then people couldn’t understand my accent so they enrolled me speech classes. LOL Thanks to Ms.Graham science teacher who knew my potential and encourage me to pursue my dream of becoming a Nurse.. Ms. Graham assisted me in applying for scholarships and financial aid and I was selected as the first recipient for the Norine Welch nursing scholarship. let her see her hard work in me and my dream came true , I tried over the years to find Ms. Graham, even went to the school but to no avail Anyway just to let you know I am a Registered Nurse who will be retiring soon and the picture above is my current photo.. I’m forever grateful to Ms. Graham for being my first destiny helper. We should give thanks to the people who encouraged us in this life-while they are near , so they can smell the sweet aroma of our flowers due to the seeds they have sown.
