Life Okay remember me? I bring you greetings from Columbus, Ga. after spending 12 years in the "Big Apple" NYC after that big day in June of '65! I did attempt a couple of other adventures i.e. trying to get into the Air Force and the Navy. Obviously, a military career was not for me. I had a weired job once working at a bowling alley and if I could do one thing over, I probably would have stayed in New York and pursued a career in music and perhaps become a pianist. I really love playing the piano. I'm a single parent of two sons 33 and 28 and now a very proud grandmother of two more beautiful boys, Jibriel Malik and Jaleel Rasheed Ali! I started late! For the past 40+ years, I've been using that wonderful voice that most of you will remember on the airwaves from New York all the way back down South to Georgia. Most recently, I served as the Program Director for WAGH-Magic 101.3 Radio in Columbus and was on the air (radio) for close to 15 years. For a great deal of that time, the Magic Station was located on the FM dial at 98.3. I'm sure that this career of mine will surprise a number of our classmates who knew me to be a very quiet and somewhat shy person.
