Cheryl's Story
Life
In 1969 I moved from Brookfield, Wisconsin to Quebec City, Quebec. I was 14 at the time. I attended two high schools in Quebec City: Quebec H.S. and Katimavik H.S. I graduated from Katimivak in 1973. I left Quebec that year to move to Ottawa where I attended Carleton University. After completing my degree, I studied Broadcast Journalism and Media Production at Algonquin College (also in Ottwa). My two daughters are both grown up now and pursuing degrees at Carleton U. I am divorced from their father, but he and I remain good friends.
Professionally, I am a Marketing Director for a high tech company in Ottawa - marketing has been my career for the last 20 years.
I rarely run into old friends or schoolmates. I am hoping that joining classmates will help me connect with some of them, especially my high school ssweetheart, Daniel Payette. I often wonder what happened to him, along with the many, many friends I made going through school...
