Cheryl's Story

Have been living in Oroville,WA. for the past 22 years, I love it here and the small town life. I have four children, one girl and three boys, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, (they keep me busy) life is good. I live right on Lake Osoyoos, my front yard is the lake and I enjoy the beauty of it everyday. I worked at Boeing for 15 years and always wanted to live in a serene and peaceful place, away from the chaos and pollution...Expand for more
of the big cities, this is my dream come true. Had some health issues last year when I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer, had surgery in Wenatchee and then the dreaded chemo, but I just hit my year one survivor date and I'm doing great -- it's good to be alive and I try to live and enjoy every day. I have been divorced for 30+ years, never had any desire to re-marry and love being on my own, guess I have become set in my ways .
