Cheryl's Story
Life
I left in the first month of graduation to get married. Three months later I got pregnant and had a little boy. I worked various jobs and studied Veterinarian Medicine, but ended up working with a Polygraph Company in Dallas with off duty Dallas Policemen. I then moved to Houston and became the first female deputy in a plain car serving warrants. Then became the second female to go on Patrol. From there I advanced to a Master Patrolman (Field Training officer) training men as they came on patrol. sed to be a drafting engineer so he helps me do the designs. We live a comfortable life in the Central Texas area. We have 3 grandkids. Ages 16, 11, and 6. We've been married going on 27 years. I am a Christian and I'm on a prayer team at church. Our goal is to move to the coast and retire. I would never have planned my life to turn out the way it did, but I am so thankful God directed it and I am happy and well. I've thought of old classmates for years and I'm so happy to have found this web-site. I was not one of the "popular" ones or the beautiful ones, but I remember so many of you and how you touched my life. I made good grades and laughed a lot and twirled my baton on the stage a lot during "talent days". I loved to flirt and remember the good looking guys.
