Cheryl's Story

Retired & single at 68, Wow what a ride this life has been. I live in a retirement complex with my little chihauhua Josie. I really love being able to do whatever I want when I want. Of course with Covid that is a little more limited but I have a lot of hobbies & Amazon & Netflix, so we are pretty much covered. As long as I am in my recliner Josie is on my lap, she thinks that is what I am for. Her personal lounge. Ha ha I walk a lot with her and love to take pictures of everything. I see art in all of nature & love to capture that perfect moment in time. Still hoping for that special someone, I have 3 Exes that did add to my life greatly, but just weren't completely the right fit. e with a wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful & caring Granddaughters. I lost my Mom in 2015 and miss her every day. I am now Guardian for my brother Dean, who is in Assisted Living. (Massive stroke about 18 yrs ago). It is funny how when you are young you think you know everything and as you age you see how wrong you were. Now that I know myself so much better & what I want out of life, I hope to find someone to complete this wonderful adventure we call life. If I am destined to continue alone, that is ok too. I have a full and happy life as I am with my Daughter & her family and friends and of course Josie. Oh, can't forget my brother Darrell in PA and Deans kids in CO & NY.
