Cheryl's Story

Life After high school, I went to The Defiance College where I double majored in social work and psychology. I was quite active in the social activities on campus, being freshman class president, president of the student activities board, belonged to Alpha Xi Delta, was a little sister to the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, was on the Student Senate. After college, I lived in Toledo for 2 1/2 years while working for the American Red Cross. I then moved to Columbus where I worked for Franklin County Children Services for almost eight years. During my tenure there, I became an adjunct professor for ...Expand for more
the Ohio State University, supervising undergraduate students doing their field placements. I then changed jobs and worked for the Ohio Youth Advocate Program for almost five years. I now work for Parmadale in the foster care program. I currently live in North Olmsted. Since high school, I have traveled extensively. I have returned to Australia three times, I have been to Russia, Lithuania, China, Japan, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Israel and Egypt. I am currently working on fixing up and redecorating my house. I look forward to hearing from any alumni who wish to write. Take care......
