Cheryl's Story
I graduated in 1979. I was known as the "Song Byrd". Since such time I have traveled exstincively around the US and Japan and England. I recorded a Cd with the group Tekneek titled Joyride. I have 2 beautiful children Lakia and Brian. A whole lot has happened in my life most good and some bad but , I Never Would Have Made It , without Gods grace(unmerited favor) and mercy. I pray all of you are in your reasonable portion of strengh and health. May the grace of God be richly upon you in all that you do and your seed as well in The Name of Jesus, Amen . ing about me at a high school renunion would be that I gained some,well a lot of weight. Now wait Im not Miss Piggy or Mudear. Next i would be truly happy if I were on tour with Yolonda Adams , Donnie McClurkin and Marvin Sapp. Doing the thing in which God had giffted me with. Life doesnt always turn out the way we expect but my biggest and most rewarding surprise was when the Doctor told me at the age of 44 that I did not have a tumor, but get this-" Your're pregnant." Talk about going into denial, I freaked. But he is a 3 year old man of God in the making. He's gifted in the music sense as well but singing,lets just say he's not yet the next American idol.
