Life
WOW! Where has time gone. I have been married for 37 years. I have 6 children, Joseph[35],Matthew[34],Richard[31],Ernest[29],Colin[19],Crystal[18]. My husband and I reside in Shacklefords, Virginia, since Sept. 2004.My husband Joseph, is retired from the gold mines unfortunately due to being disabled and a US Navy veteran. I am still a Housewife for now, until I decided I would like to go back to work. We also have 7 grand-daughters and 2 grandsons, ages 1 month,1,4,5, 7, 2 are 8yrs olds, 11 and17. What a wonderful joy they are. I have been very active with the American Legion Auxiliary, I am a Past Districtict Pres. and now the Dept. Of Virginia Community Service Chairman. I am also the Chairman on the King & Queen County Board of Social Services. I have enjoyed working in the community, schools, and most of all the with the Veterans.
I also have 2 chinese pugs, Bud and Penny. They are definitely ...Expand for more
a part of the family. I still enjoy all kinds of art and sewing, cooking, working with children, gardening, camping and entertaining our friends. Life has most definitely had its ups and downs, but I can honestly say life has been a blessing to me. My faith has taken me through it all and I would never want to go back and change a thing.
I would never change a thing in my life, everything I have gone through with all the bumps in the road has made me the person who I am. I am so thankful for all those who I have crossed paths with in my life, for each and everyone has touched my life in many ways.
Workplace
I had been in Real Estate for 3 years in Elko, Nevada. As of July 31, 2004, I retired from 11 years of Foster Care. During which I had worked with over 100 children. Most come into the home on probation or parole. Some with alot of issues from their home life,but it was also a rewarding experience.
