Hi Eagles! I am called "Chellie" by my friends and family now. It's pronounced "ch" as in church. After high school I became a Registered Dental Hygienist, which has been a wonderful way of overcoming my shyness in school. At the last reunion, I ran into someone who said she had interpreted my shyness as being stuck up in school...good Lord, I hope no one else did!! In the early 80's I decided to do a career change, so I went to Queens to become a Real Estate Broker, and have been working in that field for 25 years. I now have a small firm here in Charlotte, selling commercial and residential all over NC and SC, even belong to the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors, as well. Twelve years ago I again went back to school and became an EMT-Paramedic, then worked for MEDIC here in Charlotte for 2 yrs, had my heart broken over patients we were unable to save, and quit. I never quite got over the idea that we should be able to save everyone...probably a very bad personal...Expand for more
