Cheryl's Story
After leaving Georgia in 1980, I taught for 23 years in the Lewisville ISD in Lewisville, TX. I taught one year at Lewisville HS, then opened the new high school as English Dept Chairman. I retired from that position in 2003. In 2005 I began working for Texas Woman's Univ as a supervisor of student teachers. I have discovered cruising and am convinced that is the way to travel. ve cruised the Caribbean, Baja, Alaska, and this fall, the Panama Canal. My brother is still in Georgia; when I visit him, I try to see Mrs. Spangler, Mrs. Beals, Mrs. Cole, Mrs. Harper, and one time we visited Mrs. D'Orazio.I treasure my years at Sequoyah and love hearing from former students. I am in a book club, a supper club, a Bible study group and a travel group. I love to read, travel, and spoil my dog Charlie. My favorite new "toy" is my iPod!
