Cheryl's Story
After high school I married Dan Magee. We have 4 kids: Tim is 24 and is an asst. manager in a popular retail store. Abby is 21, works at DQ and is looking into going back to school. Alexandra is 10 and in 5th grade. Madolyn is 8 and in 3rd grade. We bought our home on Bessemer Ave. in 1987. Dan works at Wendell August during the day and part time at Wal Mart. I've had a few jobs over the years ranging from the hospital, a furniture store, owning my own small business for a while, baby sitting, teacher's aide, and now my current job is working at Red Roo Fine Foods. I went back to school for a while and recieved a diploma in Interior Design. I also write stories and poetry and have had a few of my poems published in compilation books. One poem was even turned into a song with the help of a friend, and has been sung at the Methodist Church here in Grove City. I enjoy working on geneolgy and also wo...Expand for more
rking on needlepoint and crochet items. I crochet for charity, which actually brings me alot of enjoyment. I'd like to reconnect with some old friends. Anybody who wants to leave me a message, I'd be glad to respond.

PS--here is a copy of the poem that turned into a song. Hope you enjoy it.
The Cradle of God's Hand
Our world is in turmoil
Fighting reigns throughout the land
Yet each night I go to sleep
In the cradle of God's hand
Threats of terror and now a war
Soldiers fighting on the sand
Yet each night I go to sleep
In the cradle of God's hand
Families grieve for loved ones lost
It's hard to understand
Yet each night I go to sleep
In the cradle of God's hand
Sometimes I get frightened
And the flames of doubt are fanned
Yet each night I go to sleep
In the cradle of God's hand
Someday God will call me home
Into the Promised Land
Where I will rest eternally
In the cradle of God's hand.
