OK, here goes............... I married Rick Purdin my senior year. He was in the Army so we moved right away to Manhattan, Kansas. Then Rick was transferred to Stuttgart, Germany (big city). Since I was pregnant when he left, our daughter Kristal was born in Muskogee. We spent three years there, and they say you either bring a cuckoo clock or a baby back to the states so I brought a baby boy back, Rickey Jr. We traveled around the States for a few years and went back to Germany, this time to Vilseck(country). This was the time during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm and Rick went. Trying times. But we all made it through. Many years later we find ourselves in Killeen, Texas home of the First Cav Division. America's Team. And once again Rick goes to Iraq. This time I send another loved one along with him.
