Chetin's Story
Life
For a living; I am a musician. Primary Instrument; electric bass.
Years prior to 1996 - Folk rock, R&B, blues, what ever gig came down the pike (Otherwise, my life before 1996 is dead and gone so don't ask)
1997 - 1998 Christian rock
1998 - 2002 - Rock/blues, touring SE region of USA
2002 - 2004 - Death metal band, mostly in SE USA and mid-west. I got out before I burned out.
Spring & Summer of 2003 - toured central Russian areas and Middle-East with a band from Canada...Expand for more
Jan 2004 to present - "Black gospel" playing various churches and secular venues in NC & VA, with prospective gigs for summer and fall 2007 and 2008 in DC, Philly, and other points north. This is the most nourishing, "alive" job I have ever held in my entire life.
Other than that: I raise my 8 year old daughter, Azura, and my 3 grandchildren. Quit surfing and martial arts when my spine wore out. Mostly just kayak in the ocean and play bass. I love my life in the slow lane.
