Chip's Story
Life
Upon graduating from Hodgson I left for the military and returned home to a job with the Air National Guard fulltime as a firefighter. I left the Air Guard for a position with Boeing Defense and Space Group as an Aircrew Rescue Recovery Specialist working with the V-22 Osprey program as well as several other programs. I traveled all over the place with Boeing and was laid off several years later from goverment funding and cut backs. I then worked for a short time with a contractor for U.S. Customs inspecting Crude Oil Tankers off Big Stone Anchorage. Unhappy with the long hours away from my family I accepted a position with a local power company as a Combustion Turbine Operator / Mechanic where I still work to this day. a beautiful daughter who turns 1 in November 2006. We have a beautiful home in lower Delaware and when we are not home you can usually find us putting around on our Harley Davidson. Life is Truly Great!!!!!
Military
Enlisted in the military during my Junior year at Hodgson as a Infantry Medic. Transferred a few years later to the Air Guard full-time as a Airfield Firefighter. Returned back to the Army as a Flight Medic and in 1999 accepted to attend U.S. Army Flight School where I became a Warrant Officer and still am to this day. I have had the opportunity to fly the AH-64 Apache, OH-58 Scout / Target Acquisition and Reconnasaince, UH-60 Blackhawk, and UH-1 Huey. I was deployed in 2003 for a little over a year for Operations Enduring Freedom / Noble Eagle flying Medevac. I Love My Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
