Chris's Story
What a ride life brings after school. I remember the night after graduation when it finally sunk in, I had no idea what was next. I ended up going to nursing school and worked as a nurse for about 20+ years. While working when I hit my 40's I decided I wanted to go back to school. I then got a BA in Social Work, worked for a few years with this then decided I wanted a Masters. I did this in my early 50's. ng decisions, just wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing. I then married a man 11 years older and had the best marriage a person could have until he died after 16 years of bliss. I had two children from my first marriage, a son who is now 33 and a comanager at Hobby Lobby here in Jonesboro and a daughter who is currently 30 who is a cook. My second husband and I adopted a child and it was finalized 20 days before my husband died. So now I have a six year old to drive me crazy every day. I currently work as a therapist and love my job.
