Chris's Story
Life
I have been married to Jack for over 31 yrs. and live in Noblesville, IN.......north side of Indianapolis.
We have 2 boys. The youngest, 26 years old works as a customer advocate for a telecommunication company. My oldest son is 30 and since graduating from IU he has lived in Chicago, Cincinnati and now in Indianapolis and working as a financial advisor for a commercial real estate company. He is married to a wonderful girl, Amy. Jack, my husband, was a state trooper when we were married and spent 26 years with the Indiana State Police. In that time he attended law school and graduated when our youngest son was 1. He retired from ISP and the next day went to work for the Attorney General's office (so much for retirement) which is where he still works. I have only been back to Portage a couple of times since graduation. Since my parents left in 1980,

Workplace
After being a stay at home mom for so many years, then finding ourselves facing collega age kids, it was time to get back to work. ugh. I have worked in various office positions part time until 11 yrs ago. I started part time w/ the Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville in the office. After one year, I ended up taking that part time position and turned it in in to full time. Now the kids are on their own and I am back to working part time as the office manager and love the versatily of the job and being around the kids that are there on a daily basis. The nice part about working in the office is I can have contact w/ the kids then once I have had my fill, go to my office and get more work done.
