Chris's Story
Life:
I am currently Married to Penny (Don) Ohlhaver since 2011.
Married since 1979 to Rhonda Shepperd. Rhonda and I dated our Sr year at Lanier; went to the Senior Prom, etc. However, we divorced officially on Oct.18th, 2007. We have three wonderful children (Boy,Girl,Boy). I currently live in Georgetown Texas. I was born here; my home town is Liberty Hill. And, of course, I grew up in Austin. But here I am back home in Georgetown Texas ;)

They call me a Software Engineer where I work (IBM). I attended College at St. Edward's University in Austin (Computer Science).
Most of my programming career has been spent designing and developing software for IBM's Unix variant call AIX (Advance Interactive eXecuti...Expand for more
ve) Operation System. Specifically in the TCP/IP Network Protocols and Applications, and LAN Device Drives area.
Other work includes IBM Video-Charger/Media-Streamer, IBM's Micro Kernel (IPC Kernel), and AIX on x86 platform. Unfortunately, the later two never saw the light of day.
I also designed and implemented iSCSI Software Initiator (Internet SCSI), a block I/O protocol (i.e., SCSI storage device) over TCP/IP based on IETF standards.
From there I worked on LVM and JFS2 (Logical Volume Manager and Journal Filesystem II for AIX). I designed the Encrypted File System for JFS2 on AIX.
Moved to AIX eRAS software products for IBM AIX operation system (Reliability Availability and Serviceability).
Currently working on AIX Security products.
