Oh, shit. 4000 characters for 25 years. Well, here goes...
After I returned home from Nam I had a bit of a rough time shaking the horse, so I spent some time in a methadone clinic in NYC. This was really a very positive experience for me, and gave me a place to live for a while. Being a resident at the clinic sure made it easier to stay faithful to the program. It's hell trying to get around the city with no legs, and especially after those crack-heads stole my wheel chair! Ha-ha!

two different cults. The people were real nice and all, but I saw enough blood in Nam and am not into animal sacrifice at all. It hit too close to home. ;-)
Let's see... got married... had a kid... then met the most wonderful Doctor who does amazing things with prosthetics. He hooked me up with a couple of legs, and did the sex change thing at the same time. Now I'm pretty much in a day to day struggle to become the woman I've always wanted to be.
I'd say that, all in all, everything has been pretty perfect for me since I walked across that stage at Barton Hall to pick up my IHS Diploma... the best day of my life!
