Chris's Story
Dang...How did it get to be twenty years since I paid for the right to wear a plaid skirt??? After graduation, I passed up on a partial at Wayne State and pretty much traveled around with my friends in the back of an old van, lived an interesting little bohemian life out in Hyde Park, and disovered that wanting to be a comedian and working to be a comedian are two entirely different things. Work? Seriously?
Anyway, I found joy in youth ministry (and hey, comedy was easier and I had a captive audience) before producing two youths of my own. They are now 16 and 14 and remind me daily why sobriety is...Expand for more

I married, divorced, went to business school to supplement the income (side note: while in college, I worked a while at an Aldi right around the corner from my old high school- oh, the pain)and took up as many courses at junior college as I could before finishing up at Bard and promptly accepted a position as a department manager at a graduate school.
I left recently after seven years and returned to a career that helped me pay for college - construction!! I am currently a retail construction coordinator and yes, I get discounts so holla at yo gurl.
