Hello again,
Other than being self-employed most of my life, thanks to Shawsheen tech., I also became a commercial pilot.I'm certified in multi-engine, along with being instrument rated , multi-engine, complex aircraft to be exact.I owned a 1968 Cessna 310 twin engine 6 seater, for over 8 years.
I used to fly friends, customers of mine from the gas station, and of course my family all over the U.S.On weekends I used to go island hopping from here to New York,just landing and taking off at numerous airports along the way, then go out to dinner, then come home, all in the course of 4-6 hours, it was a blast.
The plane was great for downhill skiing as well, we'd get places quickly.

,being next to the water, I had to have a few boats, and enjoyed them alot too.
Oh well, Men and their toys, right?
My kids mean everything to me at this stage of my life, no more planes, no boats, just quality time together with them.
Just going hiking for the day with them, then chill'in out around the grill is a good time for me now.
I can't believe I'm 50 years old. I feel like I'm around 38-40, MOST of the time. LOL
I miss my mechanic partner in crime from Shawsheen, Dan Valente, I hope he's doing well, he was such an inspiration to me, tried to keep me straight in school, etc. just a great kid.
Well, I'm off to do some spring skiing , I sincerely hope all is well with you all, keep the faith, and NEVER, EVER, give up.
