Chris's Story
Few knew me at Camarillo High as I was very quiet and shy. I'm still like that somewhat but 35+ years of teaching in schools ranging from high school to university graduate school have opened me up much more. Some people knew of me as I played in a band at many dances and some clubs around Ventura County.

I played scientist for a decade -- I really enjoyed the environment working in biology, chemistry and physics, however, I wanted to do real teaching. I quit my university job to go back to my original plan to teach at the high school level. Most would say that's crazy and sometimes I would agree, but mostly I love what I do. I teach physics and chemistry. My Ph.D. research involved much biophysics and my EPA post-doctoral research concerned the environmental effects of organic chemicals.
