Chris's Story
Life
Well, the ugly duckling made good after all! Fast approaching the half century mark (50 next year!) and still running strong, I'm joyously married to a Peruvian princess who also happens to be my soul mate.
We have two gorgeous daughters who take after their mother in every way. An aspiring author, I work in Customer Service for the Cargo division of Air Canada and also enjoy participating in various volunteer events.
I've had the pleasure of traveling to South America, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. I've had the immense pleasure of meeting rock stars as well as nobility and have learned that success is NOT measured by material wealth but by the wealth that comes from within.
Through the Classmates group I've had the pleasure of re-meeting through e-mails my first high school love. I have a wide variety of interests ...Expand for more
and hobbies and would love to hear from anyone who may remember me.
Have a great day!
Chris
School
I was somewhat of a loner. Lacking the confidence to fight back, I had more of a tendency to just let things happen. I really enjoyed all my English classes but I had a long standing fued with Math that continues to this day. The basic problem was that neither Math nor I made any serious attempts to understand each other. Thusly, I drove some teachers nuts as they knew I had more potential than staring wistfully out the windows at the cheerleaders in all too short skirts on the nearby football fields. Needless to say, 4 sessions of summer school were a waste of time and I was extremely lucky to get out of high school when I did. Some of you may remember me by the nickname, "pokey". I'm not sure where that came from or why but there it is.
