Chris's Story
My absolute favorite day of High School was Senior Sweater Day. It symbolized so many milestones. I think we should be offered Social Security Day sweaters. Now there's a milestone. Or in some cases, mill stone.
It says here to "remind [you] of who I am and where I've been", suggesting that there might be a remote possibility it would be a fun task to do. My best memories of who I am and where I've been happened after high school. In that respect, it would be quite challenging to remind you of anything. In high school I was one of the background players, one of the extras I felt unbearably shy, insecure, inadequate and quietly fascinated with boys. Overcompensated with a keen sense of humor but in retrospect it may have come across as being insensitive. If that's the case, please accept my most sincere apologies. Thankfully, I out grew that long, long ago.
This is where you come in and say:, "Nope, don't remember you at all. Were you funny?"

Let's just say that I haven't solved World Hunger yet. Can't even consistently prepare a great roast beef. Never made it to the moon, though once dated a Rocket Scientist. He turned out to be a proficient stalker so forget I mentioned him.. I never became a Brain Surgeon, but I do have a dear cousin and also an acquaintance who are Psychiatrists and I dated a psychologist..

emingly innocent at the time, the one person I really wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and mother while it seemed that all the other girls my age wanted to be in a profession. Looking back, I think that becoming a brain surgeon or rocket scientist might have been the easier path.. Did have a 12 year stint in Advertising during the earlier years portrayed in Mad Men. 12 years home with the kids. And the rest of the time until the present I've been fortunate to work closely with brilliant people (movers and shakers/thorns-in-the-sides) that have been the shining stars in their professions. I plan to work for however long my "forever" lasts..
High point: Tried (albeit in vain) to donate a Kidney to a friend who passed away too soon.
Low point: Stayed in a 22 year marriage 7 years too long. Somehow I missed the elective class: "Expediency Toward Learning Life Lessons" aka:: Don't Stand In Your Own Way, Stupid!!!
A few years ago I found out that my ancestors have been Canadian since mid 1600's. I'm Canadian? Eh?
Life has been so darned strange, sometimes in many delightful ways and sometimes in intensely challenging.ways. Those days continue .......
