Chris's Story
Chris's schools include Byrd High School. Chris later attended Louisiana Tech University (Chemical Engineering major), University of Tennessee at Knoxville (BS in Nuclear Engineering), Webster University (MA in Business Administration) and the Air Force Institute of Technology (MS in Nuclear Engineering). Chris retired from the US Air Force in 1992 and then from The Aerospace Corporation, a not for profit company that operates a Federally Funded Research and Development Center in 2017. ratories operated by the Air Force Technical Operations Center, and as an arms control inspector for the On-Site Inspection Agency. At Aerospace, Chris worked in the Intelligence Community (Signals Intelligence and Measurement and Signatures Intelligence collection) at the National Reconnaissance Office and then as an executive and manager providing technical support to the Department of Defense Compliance Officer in oversight of Northrop Grumman Corporation, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and United Launch Alliance, LLC. Following his retirement at the end of April 2017, Chris and his wife, Carol, moved back to Shreveport. The two have four children and five granddaughters.
