Chris's Story

Oh man! Joined the Navy in July of 1989 and served enlisted on surface vessels for 7 years. Went to college for BS (Biology), served as an officer on a handful of surface vessels; comanded one. Served in two combat zones 4 times, and worked with the tribunals in Cuba. Married at 20 to my wife Sheila and had twins, Christopher and Melinda who are now 13. ...Expand for more
Currently working on my Masters in Public Administration at ODU and I hope to finish soon. I have had the time of my life over the last 20 years and I look forward, with some regrets, to retire from Naval service in 2010. I have no idea what I will do when I get out except fish. I am so glad that I left Muskogee and saw the world, but now I miss it.
