I was in band and the swim steam in high school.. You might say I was a hippie nerd... I got good grades and was very good friends with many types of people from nerds to jocks... Free spirited and nothing holds me down.. I raced snowmobiles in the 80's in Haines Alaska. Raced dirt track Cars in Kenai...B stock class to late model.. I did good ..broke track records and got tons of trophies.. I got into horses my first love... the past 10 years and have since reduced my herd to 8. I have drafts. paints, quarter horses and my hunny and I plan a big hunting trip off of them north by delta.. I have done many jobs in my life from upholstery, retail owner, fish tender, back to upholste...Expand for more
rer , to my job now which is a Field Safety Supervisor for FIrst Student busing company. I also train drivers and attendants for the company. I love my job working with children even though I was never blessed with having any of my own. I love teaching and training and think of Mr. Charvot (sp) and was saddened to here he took his own life a few years ago.. He was one of my favorite teachers besides Mrs. Tenholder. I thik of her often as two of my sisters have MS as well...
Age has taught me one thing... life is short.. It goes by fast and is always trying to turn left on you. Cherish family and friends because family you can't change and friends you can. I'm a pig headed Conservative and find liberalism and progressiveness forms a lazy society and no one gets ahead. I know that Maritn Luther King Jr. would be floored at what the American government has done to his people by changing one slavery to another by keeping them dependant on government and working folks to support them.. This part was NOT in his speech...
I work hard and play hard and still love a good game of chess when I find someone intelligent enough to play with.
