Chris's Story
For a kid who took Physics only because Mr. Walker was teaching it (and who barely grasped the concepts), it is pretty amazing that my job today is as a Program Manager at Aerojet in Redmond, working with honest-to-goodness Rocket Scientists. While my product goes on primarily on communication satellites in geosynchronos orbits, my company (specifically the gang at Redmond) has built rocket engines that have gone, or are going, to every planet in the solar system. It is exciting -- and intellectually challenging! -- stuff.

After high school, I got my BA at Central, then my MBA at University of Oregon. After that, I moved to Orange County and worked in Newport Beach for a couple of years. Moved back to Everett in 1979 (because I got married to a guy from Everett, who was stationed with the Navy in Seattle) and have lived in the same house since 1982. Backlash against all the moves as an Air Force Brat, I guess!
I have been with the rocket scientists down at Redmond for about 15 years.
I read a lot. I like to cook. I sporadically garden. And I attend and participate at Our Savior's Lutheran Church since Ash Wednesday 2007.
