Chris's Story
Life
*Studied Mechanical Engineering in Rolla until my ears bled.
*Designed, built and raced a solar car across Australia.
*Had a couple of Joe jobs after school.
*Started my own construction company to break the Joe job cycle.
*Got a job in IT so I wouldn't have to work so hard.
*Moved to Houston for a huge salary (back when I thought money meant success).
*Quit heinous IT job to write novel and become a professional sailor/sailing instructor.
*Working at West Marine (for the employee discount) and doing freelance web development while planning to go sailing around the world, finish my novel, and do a reality show on sailing around the world (don't steal my idea).

l single with no pets or kids. Living in Austin until I can cruise the Caribbean. Have an unhealthy affinity for pirates and rum. Go sailing in San Francisco, the Gulf, and BVI at every opportunity. President of Austin Sailing Society (no big whoop). Make custom nautical jewelry. Play guitar badly. Trying to bring gourmet Italian food to Texas by making mostaccoli and flying Imo's Pizza in. Have fond memories of Northwest, having repressed the others. Looking forward to seeing how much everyone has changed and impressing them with how successful I am at not having lived up to my potential.
