One of Chris's favorite quotes is:"“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Marianne Williamson "I only gamble with my life, never my money." THE MUMMY There are those you can't live without. Then there are those you're better off without. "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of looking at things." Henry Miller "The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience." Emily Dickinson "A man who views the world at 50 the same as he was when he was 20 has wasted 30 years of his life." Muhammad Ali "Live ...Expand for more
for something rather than die for nothing." General George S. Patton "Chance favors the prepared mind." Louis Pasteur "The price of success is responsibility." Winston Churchill "All things are difficult before they are easy." John Norley "Choice, not chance, determines your success." "In the battle between the river and rock, the river always wins -- not because of its strength but because of its perserverance." "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free…it expects what never was and never will be." Thomas Jefferson "Progress always involves risk. You can't steal second base and keep a foot on first." Frederick Wilcox "The hardest part of climbing the ladder of success is getting through the crowd at the bottom." Bob Knight "In the middle of difficulty is opportunity." Law of Logical Argument -- Anything is possible if you don't know what you're talking about.". More about Chris:""I only gamble with my life, never my money." I'm outgoing, laid back, adventurous, goal-oriented, adaptive, and altruistic. Working on majors in marine biology, environmental studies, Russian, and paramedicine. I'm also learning four languages. I LOVE scuba diving! I wear many hats (and boots). Finishing my Divemaster, getting set up for becoming a Tec Deep Diver, and eventually making Instructor. I also volunteer as a firefighter, rescue diver and have a variety of specialties in the realm of search and rescue. Planning on becoming a Dive Medical Technician and to go through a tactical medicine course as well. I’m working as an EMT and am in the process of writing a few books. When I'm not working or volunteering, I'm usually with friends, at a shooting range, traveling, or diving - of course.".
