Bob's Story
Following 3 outstanding years at Montgomery HS, I attended and played basketball at Santa Rosa Junior College. I than transferred to the Univ. Of Hawaii at Hilo, located on the Big Island of Hawaii. I met and married Charlene Kahuanui, who was an All-American volleyball player, for several seasons. We lived in Hilo, Hawaii for 4 years than moved to Honolulu to attend graduate school. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Masters in Educational Counseling and Guidance. the Hawaii youth Correctional Facility. We have 2 children, Micah (20) and Joanna (19). Both followed in their mom's footsteps and play volleyball in college. Joanna players at Southern Utah Univ. And Micah plays at USC. Only a Jr. In college, Micah spend the last summer as a starting setter for the USA Olympic team. We have had the awesome opportunity to follow him around the world watching him play in several World Championships...looking forward to the 2016 Olympics in Brazil. Looking forward to retirement and following the kids around the country and the world.
