Christina's Story

I graduated from Leatherwood High School in 1969 and married my high school sweetheart (Larry Caudill from Letcher County) in July of that same year. Larry had just graduated from college and had been offered 3 jobs, one each in Maryland, Tennessee, and New Mexico. We chose New Mexico. We lived in Los Alamos, NM for 36 years until we both retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in June of 2005. We purchased some land in Beulah, Colorado and built our retirement home where we currently reside, although we...Expand for more
really miss northern NM and plan on returning there permanently when the housing market recovers. In the meantime, we bought a townhome in Northern NM in June of 2009. We are currently splitting between CO and NM. We have one child, Lesley, who currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband and two children (grandchildren are the best things ever). I have many happy memories of Leatherwood high school and the people I knew there. BTW, I am on Facebook if anyone wants to reconnect with me there.
