Christina's Story
WOW! The years have flown by and so have I! From someone who stood in the shadows to someone I like better.
After high school I lived in Cambridge and worked in Boston for a bank and credit bureau. This was my first look at real life and I liked it and it liked me. Then in '76 I met my ex-husband whom was in the US Army and started a life of travel and wonderful challenges, adventures and opportunities to include the Iran crisis and Desert Storm. God bless soldiers! I have lived in Germany, and The Netherlands, and have been to Italy, France, England, and Belgium. We have lived in AZ, TX, and GA. We had two fantastic children, a son, Allen (born in '80) and a daughter, Victoria (born '82). My daughter's best friend became my adoptive daughter, Samantha, who blessed me with my granddaughter, Angelina (born '01). icent Jett who brightens my days. No, I'm not prejudice, I'm his grandmother! I'm a very lucky women, God's gift to parents grandchildren are, I say :) I divorced in '87 after 20 yrs of marriage, boy is that a long painful story and have never remarried.
I have worked for the government, American Express, Child Development Center, a Catholic school, public schools in AZ and TX and a University. I was a den mother, a girl scout leader, band booster mom, and right now an I volunteer where kids are. They fill you life with laughter and love. what do I want to be when I grow up, I'm not sure yet... my latest thought was maybe a cruise line, but still not sure.
I have left my cocoon of high school and have boomed into and beautiful outgoing, sensitive, funny butterfly (person). Amazing what 35 yrs will do for a person.
