Christina's Story
After graduation, I enrolled into Beauty School,I graduated went to State Boards and earned my beautican license. During this time my dad was in the process of founding the St. Peter's Assembly Of God Church. There was a family in the church that had a nephew.Well to make a long story short we've been married 35 years. We have 3 beautiful children, Charity Alicia is our oldest daughter, Christina Michelle is our second daughter, I forgot to tell you my husband's name is Earl Rayburn, and that's were our son gets his name Earl Rayburn Jr. We were not very creative in nameing our children! It was a real big problem when Chrissy was home dating, I go by Christy, she went by Chrissy, People would mix us up. When her friends would call it would be Do you want Christy the mom or Chrissy the daughter. It could be funny at times! I stayed home with my kids until they married, and our son until he went to heaven. He was born with a horrible diease that robbed him of any kind of a normal life. ly took the BEST care of him that any little boy on the face of this earth could have had. He went to heaven Nov.14,1998. That's when I went to work, I'd been home with Rayburn for eleven years, so I had to get out of the house. I worked as a paraprofessional at our school district for four years, I wasn't making much money,so I enrolled back into beauty school for a refresher course. At the end of that summer I went to work at Great Clips and have been with the company for seven years now.
But that's not the end! Punkin, as I call my husband and I have 3 beautiful grandchildren Thomas Russell(Tommy)soon to be 10yrs.old,Isaiah Kendall soon to be 9 yrs.old and the little lady of the three Leah Taylor soon to be seven yrs.old.The boys are quite little men, but Leah, she's going to take the world by the tail! That's were I am at,at this point of my life.
We've like everyone else has had our fair share of wonerful times mixed in with some sad times. But with the grace of God we are stil enjoying LIFE!
